About Me

My name is Jen and I’m 24 years old. I live in the smallest province in Canada, which is Prince Edward Island.

My parents are separated, and I have two older sisters, making me the youngest. I’m not very family oriented, and a bit of a black sheep when it comes to my family. I have two Persian cats, Nermal and Wilford, who have been pictured on my blog a number of times and will continue to be!

When I was 10 years old I was in an accident and I suffered a spinal injury. I have been in a wheelchair for 14 years now. There is no cure for my injury, but there is constantly work being done to find one. I do not keep my hopes up for it, and live my life with the hardships I’ve been given, knowing there are people in the world who are a lot less fortunate than I am. Being in this chair has put me in situations to meet amazing people and experience things I never would have if I wasn’t in the chair.

I am a super creative individual and I love art in many forms. In high school my art teacher pressured me to get my Fine Arts degree, but my parents convinced me it would be more practical to take Business in college. I did what my parents wanted, and I still regret not going to art school, but sometimes you have to make sacrifices in life. I still draw all the time and I consider myself an amateur photographer!

I also, love fashion and beauty, which is probably apparent if you’ve looked over my blog.
